Olympic Concert 7 Aug 08 in Beijing

The world's leading operatic Diva Angela Gheorghiu will sing a solo concert in Beijing on the 7th of August this year. This Gala Concert, which is part of the programs "Meet in Beijing 2008 Cultural Events", will be staged at Beijing's most exclusive cultural venue, the Great Hall of the People. The China National Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Emmanuel Villaume, will accompany Ms. Gheorghiu.
Angela Gheorghiu's own words about this event: " As a Romanian and ex-sportsman I have always considered myself as a world citizen thanks to the gift I received and which I want to share with the whole world - my voice. The language of music is universal and I feel honored to return to magic China with the occasion of the Olympic Games."
