Va felicit si sper sa va ascult interpretarea in Elvetia, patria mea actuala. As a diplomats wife I have travelled for 14 years around the world and became very soon a global citizen, feeling part of this world indeed, feeling responsible and committed. Meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds deepened my understanding of the world we live in. Music and arts have a diplomatic mission, in my perspectives. "Cultural diplomacy without borders" for a better world of tomorrow! Dear Angela you are a part of it! Thank you for your high standards and commitment. I believe that our all efforts as guardians of these values will lead us to better understanding of the cultural differences and help us to diminish the "global" gap. Truly yours, Daniela Lauer Daniela Lauer Multengutstrasse 29 CH - 3074 Muri / Bern/Switzerland Tel.: 031 / 951 29 78 Mob.: 079 /76 90 692 E-Mail: daniela.lauer@bluewin.ch

Angela, You sang and played her well in the HD broadcast of Rondine at the Met recently on Iowa PBS! The sets were also gorgeous in this production. Whether Puccini would have wrote your final utterance of the performance is of no concern for us watching--it was a moment of human feminine perfection.
