I am a big fan and am just watching AG on La Rondine (which I saw at ROH a few years ago)

Mesajul meu este unul simplu. Nu credeam ca voi ajunge sa iubesc opera vreodata...mi se parea mult indepartata de generatia mea (sunt nascuta in 1985) si nu ma regaseam in nici o piesa. Pana cand, printr-o pura intamplare, am ajuns la concertul dvs. sustinut in Romania cu ocazia zilelor Bucurestiului. Am fost pur si simplu vrajita de talentul dvs de a ne transporta pe noi spectatorii in lumea acelor personaje..ma simteam langa ele...De atunci ascult opera on a daily basis. Sunteti un model de viata pentru mine pentru ca ati reusit sa ma faceti mandra ca sunt Roman. Pentru mine nu Nadia sau Hagi reprezinta Romania ci dvs. Cu multa stima, Adriana

Dear Angela, Thank you for blessing us with so many beatiful recordings. Recently I rediscovered your Mysterium CD and enjoyed immensely your Romanian Orthodox music pieces. I was wandering when we might get to hear more of Romanian composers? Also, do you have plans expanding your repertoire a bit? It would be FANTASTIC hearing you (and perhaps your good friend Bryn Terfel) in duets from Richard Strauss' Arabella. In fact, dare I say, it's a sort of a wishlist. As well as arias from Verdi's I Lombardi, Korngold's Die Tote Stadt, Orff's Carmina Burana and perhaprs some Mozart or some more bel canto. Whatever you decide to record next. I'll buy and listen but hopefully some of these new operas and arias prevail. Will be in New York in April so I can't wait to see your La Traviata! Best wishes, Andrej
